Finally arrived
Mine arrived today over here in Nova Scotia Canada. I thought it would be way to high for me being 5-4 inch tall and short legs, but is was no more taller than my 1100rt that i used to drive. Paid for it but didn't take it home until tommorrow raining to hard. First ride tommorrow.

Like Ulric, still waiting patiently (NOT) for the ABS I have money on in Colorado. It will be a 540 mile rid home to Utah for me. I'll tell you when it happens (supposed to be this month.)

My insider with Kaw revealed there were 22 delivered to N.J. originally...
3 of them ended up where I got mine in Va.
I have to suggest to all "waiting for word on delivery" that the individual dealers have a lot to do with whether they get them or not, Many are very lethargic, and just assumed they would get them when they put in thier projected request a few months ago, but they didn't follow up with firm orders, and put the pressure to get them.. bad move on thier part, because they likely won't see one....and any thought they perceive about "getting another dealer to share" till thiers come in will be laughed at... Kaw is looking at who moves these, and will resupply them first...
I've been following the folks that have been saying since the first announcement, that they had deposits down and were waiting..., I feel kinda sorry for them, as My timing worked out perfect, and luckily so as I am the Tech Editor for the Concours Owners Group....I've been trying to get tech stuff out of K for 6 months..they did a great job of being tight lipped till the the last second.
Lotsa folks waiting for my first tech session..with baited breath

Well, I might lose a lot of respect for Kawasaki if they let "lethargic" dealers slow their sales efforts - I can tell you as a customer service expert that any corporation that does that, ie, "punishes" a middleman and thereby alienates potential customers, is barking up the wrong tree - and any dealer that takes my earnest money and then does not produce will find that one customer with deep pockets just dried up - so that would reflect badly not just on the dealer, but on the manufacturer. If Kawasaki really feels that way, they should publish a list of "producing" dealers so we would not waste our money in fruitless deposits, or they should have a reserve of product to ship out on short notice to any dealer who asks late...anything less is holding out on the customers. Personally, I think they will honor their dealers who ask, because they know that in the final reckoning, it's the customers' dollars that matter. Guess I'll find out soon.
