Councours14 (New Daddy) Hello everyone!
I am a '94 Honda Magna owner, waiting for my new Kawasaki Concours 14 to be delivered to my local dealer in Ellicott City, MD. (It is the non-abs version). Very interested to hear anything those of you who already have one can tell me about them.

Thanks, Folks! I am still waiting for mine from Ellicott City Motorsports in Maryland - I am #1 on the list - I think they have ordered 8 - it always seems like Maryland gets things last, I am hoping for a mid July or earlier delivery. I ordered the non-abs model. Boy, I am REALLY wanting to get a leg over this beauty - it will be my first Kawasaki, I've owned my '94 Magna for about 4 years and 7500 miles, (it's a GREAT machine and I'm hanging on to it) before that a mix of different bikes including an Ariel 500 and a Zundapp (back in the 60's). I started out on a Cushman motor scooter with a centrifugal clutch at age 14 in 1955, graduated to Lambrettas, then the Zundapp, the Ariel, and eventually a Honda CL 77 in 1967, then a long dry spell until the Magna. I have ridden other bikes at various times, one was a collector friend's Vincent Black Shadow (about 1964). It had huge Smith's gauges, and you would not believe how fast it could move the speedo from 85 to 110! I've never ridden a Harley. It had been so long since I rode that when I got the Magna, I took the Harley course, which was well taught by very experienced people.

My understanding is that each dealer (nation wide) will get 1 standard and 1 ABS C14 for now, with more bikes arriving in August supposedly. At my local dealer, the ABS models were the predominant choice.
