I may perform well but before I bought my ZX12 I rode both for several days ( not at the same time of course ) and well the busa just didn't fit me well. It just didn't seem like it was designed for my giant canadian gorrilla type body.....
If it is the fastest but yet its just uncomfortable to ride is it worth it for the street ?

Slipper Clutch? Does this sound like a Slipper Clutch?

I know it, I own 2 busas. THAT spec is from the <08 busa.
These guys were making such a big deal about the 08 busa having a slipper clutch?
The drag racers make their busas NON slippers.

Well I'm going to step and say I like the new Busa, Give me a black with the gold wheels and I'll be happy. Still on the fence as which will be faster the 14 or 08 Busa. I'm leaning the Busa way, Just hard to Believe Suzuki would release a new bike that was not just alittle better. I'm guessing the new Busa will be a .10 faster mod for mod. New 14 in 09 is what I have heard.

Not much of a impovment but they did fix up the blinkers after 7 ugly years . The sides look very good but the bubble butt is lame.

I always hated the hump on the Busa. Now that I see the new one, I'm starting starting to like the old one. Yeah, it's that bad.

What retard puts the spark plugs in a place that requires the mechanic to have to tilt the engine forward to remove/inspect/replace them. You best watch your mouth son when your talking to your daddy!
I don't care what you own...but your post have no technical merit regarding the 14 or the 2008 busa.
...doood....that's like saying to Ferrari "What retard puts the transmission in a place that requires the mechanic to have to remove the engine to remove/inspect/replace the clutch."...both Ferrari and ZX14/C14 are modern sophisticated designs and not for the faint of heart ....for those who wish the ultimate in engine/component accessabilty should look no further than an air-cooled Harley or Star Warrior

[=You had to call a dealership to find out how to change plugs on a motor?
And you took a dealerships's advice?
I would never take advice from a Dropout/GED kid that's paid a few dollars an hour. Especially if they told me to tilt the damn motor to change a plug, you shoulda just came here and asked.
I stand corrected. I checked around the web and found:
In my case, I have removed all the "clean air" plumbing that is directly above the valve cover. This has made access to the plugs a lot easier and it does not require using a flexible or hinged extension, as some have said is required.
I do know my bike though because I removed the engine and replace the transmission last summer along with some other mods. I did'nt look at a ZX12 manual because the guy did'nt have one and I damn sure was'nt going to. However you just remove the airbox on a Busa and there they are. Easy as that..

I've been thinking about the changes to the engine and equipment. With dual rad fans and a larger oil cooler and other little tricks, the engine is will accept a big bore or stroke kit with out overheating as easy as the previous model. Anyway the problem with holding a biggest cc title is insurance. What would your agent say when you tell them you have a 1500 or 1600cc sport bike. Probably the same thing most of them say now. "We don't cover that bike" or will give you some high azz estimate. Stealth is the key. Upgrade with aftermarket and avoid the extra fees that come with the Big CC tag.
What do you guys think? Am I right or am I just pissing in the wind?
