Bike looks great!!! and I'd love to ride it..... For about 45 minutes..... then I would be in such pain, my day would be over..... whats the point.... (for me)....
For those who buy it..... Have a great time.... I bet it does ride nice....

The new 'Busa is truly a beautiful bike. Buddy of mine bought one - Blue/gold wheels. He ALREADY had a Blackbird and usually had me fearing for my license when we went on group rides. Now, I'm worried about the FAA, or NASA...
Great bike, but if the Concours-14 is "overkill", this new Busa is "woah-verkill"...

You can get 'em here in Montreal in the 13's, all day long. They aren't worth more than that and if you wait a few more months, watch and see the prices tumble. The bike should be priced in the 11's as it is in the US -- and I believe it will get there soon...or close anyway.
Like the auto manufacturers, they will start dropping the prices dramatically, just because many people are buying from the US and importing them. The FED's have already said that they were going to relax the laws on vehicle importation in the next very short while -- and that will kill the domestic business for everyone who wants to continue to stick it to us. Chrysler has already dropped pricing by almost 30% on some models, while others are following suit. It's only the fucking imports now that are left to drop -- and those cocksuckers will hold out as long as they can -- fucking the Canadian consumer all the while, but they will have no choice, as more and more of us import the same vehicle from the US at 30% less -- landed. I have always maintained that cars like BMW and Mercedez are a complete and utter rip -- and now in the wake of the massive price drops, they are starting to stink more and more in the eyes of the potential buyer...their time is gonna come - and real soon.

Wow... and here we were riding a bike that is outdated AND is getting beat by V-Maxs and Busas. I need to jump ship right away!! As a matter of fact.. I tried to buy an aftermarket pipe... and found out they don't make one yet... I guess I need the Busa!! Maybe some day they will make a PCIII for the 14?? Probably not. It is too slow anyway. Smokin.. you better not race any Busas!! You also better watch out for the V-(overprice)MAX. Just the other day I spoke to my friend with a Busa and he rode a 14 for the first time and now has his Busa for sale. Maybe I can give him your number?? Wait until he realizes that he is buying the outdated slow bike that nobody wants?!
I am not into the bike wars but this post is so typical of uninformed Baloney! Generic negatives. Get what you want... and speak your mind.. but you will get someone else's mind also when yo ugo to a zx14 forum! Sir, the fastest bike between the two will be the better rider. Maybe you can be faster on the Busa because of fit or comfort... but to say you rode it and it IS faster is subjective. Smokin may ride a ninja 250 and beat you on a Busa... My zx12 FELT faster then my Busa... but it wasn't... so do I tell everyone that the 12 was faster?? Sorry for the rant. You may now continue with the originally scheduled programming!! If I am out of line.. I give my you my apologies now...

Smokin tries to line up against every Busa he can but they are all scared to run him. So I'm usually in the lane next to him. He's put a call out on about every board for any 08 Busa's to come run him but no one has ever showed up. LOL

both bikes are awsome very awsome i like them both, both run great numbers and very very close numbers for that matter. 3 of my friends own 08s and i own a 14, all of us are somwhat newbies to drag racing with maybe 5 years seat time between 4 of us.
so to break this down for you my best on my 08, 63.5", full pipe,air shifter,mr9
9.04@152 having issues bike is def an 8sec bike with me on it just been battling traction issues all year, i weight 165lbs usuited, my best friend has the same exact mods as me his bike is 63" and hes 178lbs usuited he just ran 8.82@155, another friend same exact mods weight 175lbs unsuited 8.98@153 and another guy is a rookie and only weight 135lbs and has been 9.0@156mph w a 1.57 60ft.
so they are all about the same.
