Ride Report: Day 2 - Connie as a 2 Up Grocery getter...

It was a bit chilly out today... the slight heat from the engine was a wonderful surprise! It enveloped my legs, and those of my passenger and made for an extremely comfortable riding experience. We fitted a PacSafe tail bag to the rack on the back of the Concours 14. No problems installing.

Traveling around, I took note of the fact that at 6' 3.5" I'm too tall for the windscreen... ducking down it does block ALL the air. I also noticed that they've labeled 6th gear as "OD", or overdrive...

Also had a close call with the license plate! Noticed that it was falling off! One of the el-cheapo plastic plate screws had gone missing.

Had a chance to ride pillion for a few miles. Bike was very smooth, and being much taller than the driver, I had a great view of the road!

That's a better way to break in than babying it as suggested in most owner's guide. Gets those rings seated better.
