Johnny,putting any miles on the concours yet? Hope to have mine today or tommorrow down here in Sydney, left warehouse last Friday. Don't know where to buy ABS or not. My bmw r1100rt had it but i could turn it off never used it. I like the topcase and gel seat on the kawasaki uk site. Hopefuuly will see the accessories here. I was talking to Richard last week. I sold him one of my 750 turbo bikes last year. If you ever come down Cape Breton give me a shout.

Thanks , I understand the much larger community and some times people get carried away.
This is my first sport tourer. I own a Triumph Sprint RS 955 and just traded in a nomad on the concourse.
I am very happy with this bike so far. I have found that it pulls well from 3500rpm and really comes alive at 7000rpm. Breaking is excellent, transmission is very smooth. I have not been able to run it real hard as I am just breaking it in.
My first trip out I got caught in Hail and rain, not how I thought I would break the bike in. The windscreen was able to keep some of the water away and I liked the 4 way flashers especially when cars where coming up on me.
I am 5' 11" and able to stand flat footed, and my wife liked the seating from the back. Average milage has been around 15-17 km per liter. It does seem to heat up quick around town and you can notice some heat around the ankles.
On Monday I meet up with a buddy who rides a FJR and we swiched up bikes. One of the first things I noticed was the difference in size, the Councourse is bigger in width. We both noticed that the Concourse had more power and was smoother going through the gears, he really liked the 6th gear or "OD". I like the tire pressure monitor and hope that when I change tires they manage to not break them.
I am not use to writting my impressions, usually just read them. I may not of done the Councourse justice. I for one am extreamly happy with the bike, I would however liked to of seen hand grip warmers and cruise control.

Hey Turbo, Richard told me he had a GPZ 750 turbo, I use to own the non turbo GPZ , loved that bike. I went with the non ABS , I am not sure yet how I feel about ABS. I like the options as well, but not sure how quick we will get them, Kawi Canada can not even up date their website. I am in CB at least once a year riding, nothing like the Cabot Trail, so will give you a shout next time I am down that way.
Hope you get yours soon, I am very happy with mine, going in for my 1st service after work today.

Johnny tell Richard that i said hello and when he makes his zx14 faster than my zx12 bring it down to the drag races in Sydney, that should get him going. Johnny ask Richard about the accessories on the uk site and see if they are available in Canada in the near future? Thanks Jim Jones.
