Brock and the Concourse
Roughly how long after the Concourse is available for sale do you think Brock might have a SMEG set-up for it?

better question would be how long until the aftermarket makes a dual canister system for the Connie 14

again....CUZ' IT LOOKS LIKE SHIT!!!!...the same reason why you never bought a 999 even if it could've been available for $14K....of sure, the 999 is technically a great bike, but its sales and reaction to the 1098 vs the 999 spoke volumes about its asthetic appeal...
...and it doesn't look as homogenous as the RT1200R, K1200RT, FJR1300, ST1300...its main competitors....especially the back end...
...after-thoughts...that's what the back end and the "gas tank" of the C14 looks like...a collection of after-thoughts...the huge-ass pipe that make the bags look even smaller...the rear-deck/taillight assembly....the huge bump on the "gas tank" cover...maybe after-birth is more like it....the rest of the bike is spot on, I think...
...hey, if its ugly even YOU wouldn't buy one even if it costs $10K and was a technical tour de force...or you'd buy one and mod it to suit your taste...you asked

I like the way it looks and some of the new features. For one thing I like the fact that the fairing protects your legs from wind buffeting, the easy maintenance of the belt drive, the techy stuff like the Ki-Pass and the tire pressure monitoring feature, and I like the fact it has a glove compartment so I won't have to put a big ol' tank bag on the tank. But I dislike the motorized windshield which I just see it as a potential thing to break, unattractive, and would be a pain in the butt to change out for a different color or shape... and that exhaust is not overly appealing. But overall I was quite taken back by the inexpensive cost of the machine and I think it will be a huge seller.

Certainly you're not suggesting that the coin purse (aka glove box) could even come close to replacing a small or medium sized versatile tank bag?

It depends on what I can carry in the glove. If I can carry the usual sorts: glasses, keys, and every day whatnots then yes, I do. I was using a pretty large bag wherever I went and it was just ugly looking--ruined the lines of the bike.

Dale Walker made a nice, quite bolt on muffler for the FJR.
I'm guessing the catalyst is included in the C-14 Muffler, hence it's enormous size and likely weight. I like 4 into 1, as long as the one isn't 3 ft. long and 1 ft. wide!
