what the hell is the hold up

my gosh what in the world is the hold up on specs and info about my new bike, when it was announced there was a brief tid bit of news and some articles in the magazines. and now for a long time it is dry
dealer knows nothing
he was going to order in Dec and then that did not happen
and now not a word?????????????????//
am thinking if I really want to get one right out of the gate now. are they having problems and that is why there is no news

we need some new news to spark the fire again

Ozzy complained so they're redesigning the entire bike.

Mr. Kawasaki called me direct from Japan and said they are holding up the release because it is not up to par with the BMW and FJR. Something about ugly as hell and single mufler.

concours

The problem is if they wait too long into the summer, people will already be looking for something else to buy. I will wait as long as i can. I will drive my 750 turbo until then.

hold up

Yes it will be a fun ride for now. I will be getting her ready for the road next week. The turbo is like brand new. It has been over twenty years since i took her for a good run, can't wait to turn the throttle on her again. Im used to driving a big kawasaki voyager with wind protection and cruise control. Hopefully they will be some information out on the concours next week. Looks good in the picture.

q

I had a 2003 voyager 1200 which is the inline four you got the six cylinder ones. I had four new ones since they came out in 1986, the 750 turbo was before that, now i must wait for the concours 1400 hope it is not to high for me. I will just have to lower it a bit. Hopefully they will release some specs on it in the next week or so. I talked to someone that sat on one at the shows and they said it seems a bit lower than the old concours, hope he was right.

Nope! Work's been too too too crazy.

Considering using the turbo and the complete kz1300 as the basis for the new turbo bike. But there's a couple things to do first, as in lowering the bike, stretching the swingarm out and lengthing the driveshaft. All fun stuff

You'd need to adjust the wastgate to it's lowest level but with the much higher compression the bike would run much better. Those 0.100 oversized pistons with a CR of about 7-8:1 make it a bit weak on power in the bottom end. Of course all you need to do is keep in on boost all the time and this isn't a problem any more.
