Redesign the Connie 14

Keeping 2 things in mind, price point and the fact the Connie 14 is a sport tour bike what would and should Kawi have done to make it YOUR bike?

If it was up to me it would have the tail lowered down , I see no need at all for itss ass end to set sport bike hi.
I would use dual exhaust canisters instead of that dildo it now has.
A cooling system that will allow 10 mph stop and go driving in 110 temps.
The seat would be an adjustible 2 piece set up.
It would have real storage under the rear seat.
Grip heaters would be standard.
Vents in the lowers to direct engine heat to the legs for cold weather, and closed for hot weather.
Skip the tank mounted glove box thing, give me a fairing side pocket or two.
Ebony black would be available along with wineberry.

Nope, dood I havent
I do know you can redesign something you are displaying to the public.
I do know that it is to much oreiented towards sport and not tour and I dont have to ride it or touch it or know anyone that has to know it is not in the same market arena as the FJR or the ST or the K-GT. Those bikes are the market I wish to purchase in, and currently own in.
Take a good look at them, they are not a "sport' bike they are a sport "tour" bike. Believe it or not fish, there is a market out there that doesnt give a hoot about the latest greatest track inspired go fast bike. Honda, Yamaha and BMW have figured this out. Kawi should well know that after selling the Connie for years and years and years. Why try to make the Connie a dolled up, nuetered ZX14? Make it an updated ZG.

And as you so eloquently stated and the showrooms confirm, it doesnt exist.
In the mean time I will continue to ride my ST1100 and take the wait and see approach before making a decision on which sport "tour" bike will be replacing my 200,000+ mile ST1100.
