Performance Predictions ...

1. Average 1/4 mile times bone stock will be....?

2. Rear wheel hp as delivered show room is around.....?

3. Top speed (stock)....?

Try it and can see whos correct later.....show your savy...

I expect:

1. 10.7 sec 1/4 mile (before any modifications,180 lb rider. - avg. uncorrected)
1a 10.1 sec aftermarket exhaust and powercommander

2. 156 rear wheel hp

3. 178 mph top speed.

yes I realize it is a sport touring machine... still a critical subject of interest with a ZX-14 base engine...

whats the point? to guess based on Kawasaki history , rational probabilities and see if you are correct later...

yes I am a little bored at the moment..

1. 10.62 @ 129 mph
2. 148 rwhp
3. 172 mph (w/o bags)

I say 10.50s in the 1/4, only because I went 10.87 on my FJR and the concours should be faster then that.

FJR is 145 hp with 10.8 1/4 mile if I remember right, so I'll guess:

1. 10.3 sec
2. 160 hp
3. 170 mph

I chose 155 top speed because that's the euro limit for cars. Who knows?

The guess was supposed to be for rear wheel hp, not crank. The FJR is about 125 I think and the ZX-14 stock around 170 or so. I doubt the C14 will come that close to the ZX-14.
