Clack, pop, sputter!
Anyone blow up there 640 Adventure before?
Mine made some bad clang, clang, clang, noises then just shut off!
We were 4 days into our 20 day Africa trip in northern Namibia and I had purchased fuel maybe 100 KM back from some sketchy guys at a single gas pump.
I had not pulled the brown, ignition map, wire so this may have been the problem. The bike is still on it's way back so I cant look at it yet, but I think I will have to do a complete top end job and possibly the con rod.
I would like to over size but I don't like the idea of replacing the Nicasil with an iron liner. It seems to me that that would be like going back in time.
