Figures it'd only be in Austraila. You can tell by the website link at the end (.au). USA don't care about anything but cars.

thus it seems to stay on the street.......
Safety wire a few bolts, change the radiator fluid to watter wetter or engine ice, tape the lights, bring leathers and join us for a few good track days and fellowship at JenningsGP in FL!

I am a street rider, always have been, always will be. And I am a sucker for any contest of speed. I just won't push further than that 70% ever on the street. The track days have little interest for me, if I am going to the track, I am going all out racing in a sanctioned race. With that being said, anyone who rides over 70% of their ability on the street is an idiot. But not everyone's 70% is the same. The guys that fell off in that video, their 70% is far and away more than 150% of most riders abilities.

I'm guessing most folks on this forum are shocked to see motorcycle racing that actually includes making left and right turns...

Funny thing I noticed: most of the guys I've known who died on bikes were also vets. Guess the fearlessness that led them to joinn the armed forces also played a part in there riding bikes? Soo many military members either ride bikes or drive fast cars, or both, there is definitely something that ties both choices together! I'm gonna have to go for a ride today in the rain for my yearly pilgrimage to the tavern a friend of mine liked to meet at after our rides. Another vet who went down and didnt get back up. Also one of the best riders I've ever met who raced street and track and was the most highly regarded rider of both crowds: a real man's Man who would just crack up with an infectious laugh if he heard me say that about him. ......... would have never known I would miss him even more as time went on- I miss the others that went down, but his death seems to always be so fresh and raw in my mind, know what I mean?
I wrote this poem for his funeral and posted it on the regional website where we all hung out- maybe it will help bring this "no all out street racing" theme:
Thoughts of you-
when the sun is at my back,
morning dew fills the air,
no need to look cuz I know you'll be there.
Our first fuel stop ,
The tank is cool, the tires hot -
the distinctive yet faint sound of an Ape goin’ by,
your ridin’ sweep from up on high.
Every ridge I crest ,
the reward a verdant green valley,
a freshly cut twisted ribbon of asphalt in view,
I'll be thinking of you.
And you'll be there, in our hearts and our spirits.
We ride on, not forgetting, not wavering, and not backing down from doing what it is we love to do.
"We ride on brother, and we shall meet again."
~ thanks Chato for cleaning this, my first ever poem, up to par. I was close though!
Feel free to spred this poem around fellas, and modify it to fit others if wanted: I would be honored to know it reached you enough to use it.
