2009R1 Need Opinions ASAP!
Me and my buddy walked into my local dealership in NewYork and saw a beauty. A yellow/black 09 R1. I have to say in person the yellow/black(have one in the crate and one on the floor) is very stunning. I didn't expect the yellow to be so pleasing to my eye but it moved me. Originally, I had my sights on the white/red combo( first two coming next week). So I am against the wall with this one. I got offered a deal at 13750 OTD w/ 5 year warranty and frame sliders for either color of my choice. My question to everyone is this a good deal? Second What color would you prefer out of the two. I feel as if i could not go wrong going either way, but maybe everyone can shed some light on my issue. Its actually bothering me because I feel as if i choose one I would regret seeing the other on the street later on. What to do?

personally, I prefer the red/white version... bike is very nice... hope it works out! 5 yr warranty? that's crazy!

Out the door its 13750. That includes 5yr warranty and sliders.

Dealerships are hurting and you should be able to get a grand slam price. Shop and work the dealers against each other.
A guy claims to have paid 10,800 before tax and tags in PA at a dealership called "track and Trail".
Another guy in So. Cali claims he paid 11,503.44 otd including tax, tag, & title in Northern VA
Shop around, there are deals to be had everywhere!

ok sounds good.....i may have to shop around. I went to another local dealer and they were saying that they wouldn't let the bike go for under msrp. Alot of dealers are saying that there will be an increase in price(to most motorcycles) due to the US dollar taking a crap in worth. I mean im sure you would find a good deal out there regardless due to the economy itself. Also they said that it cost more to get these bikes into the US and that means that most brands will be limiting how much comes here. What are you guys hearing out there?

drewzx-14, I suggest never paying MSRP. Shop around, plenty of dealers want your business. Even if you have to travel a few hours for a better deal.

supposedly he is giving me the bike at 11800 and 600 for the 4 year extension. The difference would be in tax and tag i guess. But i am definitely going to shop around.
