i was talking about the overall look of the honda. The yamaha looks good, I just dont like the front headights. The previous models headlights looked better. but you cant get the whole package now a days.

How much power is enough? That's a question I always asked and furthermore end of the day, it's just a number which differs from dyno to dyno and how a tuner sets it. I would say the 2009 R1 is different, you have to put behind the usual inline four feel, ride it differently and grow with it.I'm saying this not because I own one and trying to justify it but seriously loving the bike everyday. I traded my 07' for it and have no regrets even if the numbers are low for horses....the feeling is different, how the engine thumps and revs up effortless just puts a smile on my face everytime i ride it.

We are all made different and have our own preferance to how a bike should feel so I'm happy to wait for 7 months without a bike, 09' R1 made it worth on every ride.

PS: Tech wise, Yamaha no longer use the EXUP valve on the 09'....only realise it during Akra full Ti installation.

I agree 100 percent with that one rama....i love mines as well. You appreciate her every ride. I have the excitement back in me from when I first started riding motorcycles. Just finding reasons to take her out for a spin. I would ride in zero degree weather as well. In fact I have logged almost 500 miles on her already within two weeks of owning her (damn its cold up here in New York).
