Max, I promsied to business wuith them and tell everyone how it went, good or bad.
Hopefully everyone learned from my experience that this place sux azz regarding customer service.
Appears to be a bunch of bunkins' in the country rather than motorcycle professionals.
But I have no ill feelings. I also don't mind running Pilot Powers, even though its not what I ordered.
Believe you me, the local sportbike community will know what this shop is about when the first leaf on the trees turn green up there. Starting when I visit the Ohlins USA shop in Hendersonville.

I am going to inject some info here about all of this and everyone can take it with a grain of salt..
I do not know who the hell the troll is that said I was fired. I quit because the owner was writing me paychecks that were no good and the way he does business. Pull up mphcycle.com and then you will see what kind of person the owner of MPH is. The owner still owes me money.
I never said I owned the business and never represented myself that way. I was hired to be the general manager. If someone read into my posting(s) that I owned the business, that's their mistake.
There are many long standing members on Bikeland that know me personally, not just through pm's, classifieds or postings. These are people that I work on their bikes, sell them parts and race with them. They can tell you what kind of person I am and I am not what some here have made me out to be.
A misunderstanding or lack of communication does not represent what or who a person is.
I have bought and sold many things on this board and never screwed anyone and that includes KZscott who seems to have a bad case of ass for me because of a deal that didn't work out between us and I apologized publicly in this forum and explained the situation. He did not get screwed as he makes it sound. He also looks for every opportunity to slam me. I am sure he will see this and make a stab at me.
Most everything I have sold in the classifieds was shipped to the buyer prior to receiving payment.
Steve tells it like it is. I made the mistake of sending the wrong tires and before he could get back off vacation, I quit.
I am not associated with MPH any longer and would appreciate my name being left out of any conversation pertaining to them.
If anyone here needs to talk to me or has anything to say about me or wants questions answered in regards to all of this, PM me and I will be glad to send you my phone number or send yours and I will call you.

I post under this name only. I had posted under the MPH name when I worked there in regards to the business. The MPH name was under the company not my name. There is not a 3rd name. Let me know what the 3rd name is, I would like to know myself.
Actually fish it has been a month to the day since I quit MPH. Took some time off to relax and reflect.

Don, I hate to put our business out here, but when do I get my parts?
It's been over 3 months on the pan and over 1 month on the rest of my parts.
This is not MPH business it's between you and me. Tell me again when you are going to ship them. Do you plan to send them?

Well, Steve....Don was an integral part of your deal. The shop is not making good on Don's promises to you. So, it seems hard to separate the two. Numerous people have had issues with Don's business ethics, it seems.
Do you think it is just a coincidence that you got screwed...and that somehow Don was involved?
I respect your intentions with this thread, but I also think people have a right to be warned.

Don was making good on replacing the tires, the beef I have is with MPHCYCLES's owner now who won't uphold the original promise.
Anyway, I'd appreciate keeping this on topic. The transaction the other gentleman mentioned clearly has nothing to do with MPHCYCLES which is the thread topic here.
I kindly requested another thread be started for that whole issue.
Thanks

yea, I have no problems with Pilot Powers. Thanks for the link brutha-man!
And whoever made this site....Danny truly is the owner. Someoine is more upset than me. At least i got some nice pilot powers.
Now had i shipped mine back (instead of a one for one swap) as so many suggested i go ahead and do, I suspect i'd be more f*cked than I am, at least now I have nice pilot powers

meh, visa would've refunded the money. but I guess the maximum amount a drama was eeked out
interesting comments left of the newspapers message board.
"To elroyjetson:
I see two plausible explanations... the most obvious would be:
(1) APD sets up a sting. (2) From his LEO days, Danny Jones has (paid or unpaid) but clearly unethical "friends" in APD (3) Said "friends" warn Danny about the sting. (4) Danny is in so tight with some level of the APD that he has NO CONCERN telling the world that he was tipped... Although I predicted he'd throw his drivers under the tow truck, it makes little sense that he would do the same to his tipster --- which makes the logical person think that Danny has good reason to believe that the APD would not internally pursue the tipster.
However, another possible scenario is that Danny in concocting the story to throw the drivers under the tow truck simply LIED to the ACT reporter about the tip. He never got a tip but was quick enough to tell the reporter that he did.
In either case hopefully the APD will clear/clean up this mess."

Steve -- he's right, Visa would refund the money, but ya, just ride them Powers and call it a day! I had an experience with a motorcycles part company on the web, and ultimately when PayPal and that company refused to acknowledge my issue or do anything about it, Visa charged them back and that's when PayPal woke up, which is when I told PayPal to take a hike. In the end, the merchant got what he deserved!

Bottom line is, the shady owner wouldn't do a one for one swap as originally promised. I have pilot powers, was no need to contact VISA. I was simply warning folks of a HORRIBLE customer service experience
If the shady business goes under before I get up there in a couple of months it'll save me effort (except laughing with a few locals about the place)
Matter of fact, we need to go ride on 'em soon!

One of the things about my tire purchase, that I'd hadn't mentioned. Don told me, after he ran the visa, that he miss calculated the total by $5 (not in my favor). He left message saying this and asked how we should handle it. Didn't know what to make of that. I figured it was a fishing expedition for some more business and I decided to let it go. In light of this other nonsense, it makes me wonder enough to check my visa bill.

Here's the latest hell Danny Jones (owner MPHCYCLES and this towing company) is in trouble for. This facker may see some prison time yet-
note the part: "Jones said he thinks at least one of the workers did not know he was towing a vehicle from a spot that had been paid for.
The Asheville Better Business Bureau gave All-Safe Towing an âFâ grade, listing seven consumer complaints during the past two years about illegal towing and poor customer service."
