Got mine today, but it doesn't look like the one advertised and it ia about 160 pages of smallish maps. But will give me good ideas to mull over while I recover from my broken leg.

Can you check and see if Cherohalla Sky is ion that by chance? It'll be far west NC close to the TN border area. I'm just wondering how detailed the book really is... not that I need map of that area of the mountains, but I'm hoping that drive is listed

It is on there. I think that this guide is meant to be used in conjunction with the byways.org website. When you go there, you can bring up more info and probably print out a more detailed map with the sightseeing highpoints on there.
