It makes me sick when someone is just sooo proud to be a part of "BIG BROTHER"!
Kinda like promoting cummunism. You go get'em killa!
Believe me, I already know your kind are as you say "Waaaaatching You"
The sad part of that is. Most of the general public just don't realize how true that is. They readily hand over their freedoms to the likes of pieces of power hungry human garbage such as yourself. In the guise of safety & protection from the bad guys (Me?)
You are well-trained in the art of promoting the fear. As has been shown in your earlier posts.
"zx1kr is bad!" "zx1kr is dangerous"
Whom do you think I'am?
You guys can play the rotation of the moderators to try and get the last word. But, I'll always end up having said the more intelligent words.
Just get used to that .
Then, maybe, just maybe I'll give you a donut.

To each his own Fish. I just think these guys are a riot! I post an actual occurrence, something that happened, and what I get in return is idiotic replys from the PEANUT GALLERY. Look, obviously there is more going on on this site in regard to the "NEW & IMPROVED CBR1000RR!" than I care to know about. But, god forbid anyone speaks about the CBR w/o great praise there is an assault team there to quell the uprising. I don't come on here making personal attacks until im attacked.
OK, lets try this.
I ran across an 08 CBR while out riding, after a couple of blips of the throttle back & forth we decided to do a couple of roll-ons. We went from about 20mph so that we could see whom was on the quicker steed. Both bikes stood directly straight up in the air upon hittin the throttle. Knowing this was reckless, we immediately rolled off the gas. At that point we were now well past the legal speed limit as my digital speedo just nailed 62mph half way thru the rpm range in 2nd gear. We both realized this was irresponsible & reckless so, we just decided to cruise at the state hwy speed limit of 55mph. We were determined to see who would get better mileage!!! I left the CBR pilot pushin' that sucker on Rte 495!!
I got better Gas mileage with my old ass R1. I chalk that up to the lighter rolling mass of the CF wheels. Unbelievable difference in fuel mileage!!!!!!!
OK. Is everyone alright with the cleaned up rendition?

I don't argue. I simply state facts. People get their panties in a bunch & can't handle those facts.
These are the facts, Stevewfl & zx12adam are both pathetic suck-ups. Worm-hole is well? Worm-hole. He rides a klr650 so that sums that up. Why do these wannabes feel the insatiable need to defend the nuetered USA version of the CBR1k when it truly isn't what it's been hyped to be? They don't even own one! You do. Are they your personal Gargoyles defending Fishes newest ride to the death? Did you sign you soul over to the devil er' uh Honda for that ride? If so, that is fine. ...I think it basically boils down to this, cpmdude: This is a fun and oftentimes irreverent site. We smack anybody and everybody.....and most like it this way. We usually take no prisoners, but the prisoners we take become our bitches for the duration until a new bitch comes along or an old bitch gets recycled just because someone felt like it.
We all have out favorite bikes and our lofty opinions of each bike including all things related to bikes. We don't all have to agree on everything, but we can certainy disagree on some things. Its been my experience that most here understand the concept of bench racing....or as I instead call it "brag-racing". There's a post from long ago about brag-racing and brag-racers.
You apparently fit the mold of the brag-racer and some here in the peanut gallery are calling you on it. Well, good for you, Sparky!
Here's a clue for you: This site has members who are leaders in the motorcycle industry....and most posses tremendous riding, business or artistic talent, but I've yet to hear them brag as much as you have. These fine and talented folks are not brag-racers...they are the quiet professionals whose riding and business talents speak volumes to the membership here. These folks are more often than not well respected because they have upped the ante for themselves to earn that respect.
Get a clue, dude...you're a member of the same industry ferchrissakes . I believe you have an ethical obligation to the industry to promote motorcycling in a favorable light so that we don't get legislated out of existence. This positive promotion is something that can't be done when you're conducting unsanctioned speed contests on public roadways with off-duty cops and bragging about it on a very prominent bike website.
The industry leaders have upped the ante and garnered the respect they deserve. You want the same kind of respect from from the peanut gallery? UP YOUR'S!!!

Sounds like that's exactly what's needed if you're stupid enough to do this shit on a public road, why should someone else pay the ultimate price if you screw it up, no wonder bikers get such a bad rep when there are the likes of you out there tearing CBR and Busa owners new holes. I'm now at the ripe old age of 32, and I realised long ago that there is always a faster fish in my small pond, so what's the point, if someone wants to brag about destroying a Ducati1098S from the lights/roll on, come over to Ireland and race me, I won't put up a fight. In fact you can post that you wasted me if you want I won't disagree. So that'll read CBR, BUSA and 1098s destroyed by R1.
Reggie
That's mighty righteous of ya Reggie! You should be on a fuckin' scooter. Why'd you waste your money on a 1098? This site continues it's downward spiral!
Because, as you said, it was my money. I'll spend it on whatever toy I want, and the 1098S ticked all my boxes. If I'd wanted a rice rocket I would have bought one, but then I wouldn't be as happy as I am now.
Just out of interest, where is your shop based, so I no where to avoid shopping when I come over to the states in Sept.
I'd hate to think I'd help fund a total cockgobbling wanker like yourself, You should sell all your HD's and get that penis enlargement you so desperately need.

I'm not going to even justify any of these posts by responding to them. It is what it is. No bragging, just reporting the facts. When I run across something that puts it on me I'll post it. The new CBR is not that one. Oh, wait. I did roll on with a stretched ZX14 that same night. He tore me a new asshole off the jump, but I was pulling him in. But, it was a short roll-on so I couldn't run him down. We did it again & I ended up looking at the sky for 3 gears so he got me. It was early in the night so, we didn't have much room to run. Traffic. So, we just left it for the next time. No bragging. Just the facts.
As far as anyone coming to my shop? Listen, I do what I do because I have a passion for it. My customers know that & that is why I continue to grow. I LIVE for the industry. Again, I'm not in it for the money. Do I make money? Ya, because I work at what I do harder & better than the next guy.
As far as fish thinkin' you're a good guy? Well, I guess that's his opinion. God bless him.
Just for the record again, I went to the local Honda dealer with money in pocket. Sat on the CBR1000rr. It's small & just too uncomfortable for me. If I thought it was what it's been hyped to be I would have it in my garage right now.
I ran across one on the street & it just couldn't show me anything. I left it & left it badly. I'm not trying to brag, I'm just tellin it like it was. You are turning it into something more than that.
Do you think I'm just making up stories? If so, oh well what am I to do.
See, I don't take it to a personal level though, until it's taken to me on that level. Go back & check yourself. I'm not doing anything more than Stevewfl was pulling on the ZX10 forum not so long ago. Problem was ,Steve's bullshit was just "stirring the pot" bullshit. I actually ran across the CBR on the road. Did it make my day seeing that CBR whilst I was out on the R1 that evening? Fuck Ya! If he'd lit me up, I'd have been posting " Holy shit I guess zx12adam & stevewfl were right! The new CBR is the SHIZNIT!" I probably would've reevaluated the fitment issue I had with the bike & went back to snatch one up.
Get it?!?!?
Last I checked that's what this site was about when I first came here. I DO NOT BELIEVE that is what this site is about anymore.

Three things come immediately to mind:
1) You know you're on a CBR site, where this will not be taken well. Looks to me like you're just trying to troll/rub people's noses in putting down what they like.
2) You're basing everything on speed/acceleration; and on top-end speed/acceleration, at that. That is only one criteria for judging a bike. There are numerous others.
3) Your presentation is atrocious. You come across as either an arrogant, talented guy trying to convince people how great he, and his bikes, is/are; or you are a sad fellow w/little talent ,or life content.
You're trying too hard, and you're pushing too hard. And on a CBR site, no less. Surely you're not surprised at the outcome...
Me? I'm still undecided between the CBR and the ZX. I'd lean towards the 1000RR, as of now, because I'm a street rider. The Honda has better mid-range; fit and finish; it's lighter and more nimble; it's more comfortable; and Honda's still have better resale, as a rule. I still find it hard to walk away from the ZX top-end, though.
FWIW.

CLS: You are obviously looking for a Gixxer 1K then! It won so many awards for a reason, it's fast enough to hang with a ZX10, but not so razor sharp you are constantly trying to find its edge. The CBR is a nice bike, as all the new ones are, but it will get owned in roll-ons, no matter how much they tout the "increased midrange". BUT: that midrange would come in real handy on an unfamiliar tight n twisty road, kinda like the grunt of the V-twin 1098.
Handling still comes down to my favorite homemade bumper sticker: "4 cylinders, 2 wheels, and 1 rider. Guess which one put me ahead of you?"

lets get real bulers, 40mph rollons in the real world are not conducted in 5th or 6th gear! A real rollon starts at a minimum of 7 or 8K on the tach and end at redline. Those kind of rollons play right into the zx10's hands. Even my modded 14 would be hard pressed to keep up with him I bet. Which is why I'm pulling the flies, installing my PCIII and full Muzzy exhaust. No more problems with pesky 1000's (I hope).

Ok, between 7k and 11k the CBR is producing more power than all the others and accelerating harder.
At 40% throttle which is deemed to be representative of 'real world' the CBR is producing anywhere between 5 and 20 HP more than the others.
It's also the fastest across a quarter mile and 0-60mph.
I'll concede the ZX10 is quicker to 180 and has a higher top end BHP - real world?
I'll also concede that ZX1Kr's old R1 is faster than space shuttle atlantis on full solid rocket boost.

lol only in his head!
Check this chart out: the zx10 is faster 0-60, 1/4 mile, 100-180, 0-180, ALL categories! Only the Gixxer beats it in any category actually when you look at the 1000's numbers at least.

See, that is all fine and well. But, go back alittle ways & see what started this crap. Trolling! Stevewfl Trolling the zx10r site by his own admission.
I just gave back what he handed out. Only difference. My accounts have literally transpired.
I made sure I stepped up with facts, not just rants. Thats what's hurts most. The bruising of egos with facts that aren't liked but, none the less are true. Then, those with the bruised pride lash out with personal insults.
I've always believed in "Put up or shut up". I've shown that I'll "put up" when I have to. The response that gets on this site is personal attacks.
Listen, we can do this til the end of time. The outcome will be the same.
What kills me is now my charactor is being attacked by jerk-offs that have no clue about anything other than to just post worthless crap.
Lets think back to some things I've contributed to this board.
OH, I know! I was the 1st shop to set-up & tune the 2006 ZX14 w/o secondaries. Another big named sponser of this site got there alil' late so his response was to tell the members of this board that taking the flys out was potentially dangerous & that those that had done that were irresponsible. Well, I went round & round with him until lo & behold he conceded that after much research I WAS RIGHT!
But, the difference was. I gave my map to those members who asked for it. He made you buy his exhaust & promise not to share his maps. I also was the 1st. to confirm that the speedohealer removed the limiter on the same bike. I posted b4 & after results of all findings. So, to all of you that think I'm just some dude comin' here to troll the forums, do alil' research.
I stand behind everything I say, I will take it to the end. I invite anyone in the area to prove otherwise & I'll gladly post all results. Obviously, we'll have to take any racing to a closed course so that worm-hole doesn't get his panties in a bunch.
I don't think I can validate it anymore than that. Not about ego, just the facts!

Good point, and btw thanks for that. Now how about getting back to finding how to make the flies just open sooner so we dont have to remove them? That should keep you busy for awhile.
I'm all for talking smack and posting kills, you just seem to take a bit of a juvenile aggressive approach to it that turns off the more mature (IE old) members around here. This site should have a "kills" section so we can keep track without offending the professors around here. lol
For the record, I'm not trying to make nice with you. Online enemies are more interesting than online friends after all Just need a space (besides the Smackhouse where all the people that dont have bike reside) where we can do it properly, ya know?
