That is out of my league, they be thirsty bastards. I ALMOST bought a Huey, but my wife postponed it. Now it might be a LOOOONG wait. She's having some other recreational ideas if and when my assets come back to their normal level. Got plenty of cheese though . . .

wow, it must be awesome to be rich lol. Hell... I have to scrape, scrounge, and then beg the wife just to go to the track. If you ever decide to buy that huey I've got a friend that can give you a flying lesson or two . He was Station SAR up in fallon Nevada in hueys. The guy is one of the best sticks i've ever seen. He's also a motorcycle enthusiast and sponsored road racer.

Dude, you're 22 years old! I'm 46, at your age I had already been a truck driver, heavy equipment operator, purchased commercial property and was going to Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University in Daytona. I bet you'll be MUCH more affluent in 24 years!

I think you might be in for a surprise in a few days, at least stock in the 1/4 mile. Top speed it won't touch the Busa or 14.
Hey Finkstink guess what no suprize it's to slow to out run anyone, well maybe a Vrod lol... .... Your boy Bad_ Max got any ET tickets yet ?? I guess that would be a NO ..

Would you guys in the USA pay $23,000 for the V-MAX though.
It's £16,500 here in the UK, just convert that at 1£ UK = $1.4152 US.
...and that's before any price increases which are rumoured to hit any time now.

Can't speak for the rest but if my checking account had 3 gazzilion dollars it would be a non - issue...just not that rich to consider it...but I would rather over pay for a new V-MAX than for a Harley....no question there...
I don't believe it reaches $23,000...still overpriced we all agree on that....
Have fun!!

I know you don't pay $23,000 for a V-Max, I was pointing out what you WOULD be paying in the USA if you had to pay the UK price.
Bet they would't sell many then.

You could buy a great used zx14 and a Bking and have 2 mean bikes to
park in the garage for the price of a Vmax! And some change left for tires and such.
To each their own, I wouldn't get one for sure though.

No Vmaxs at the track tonight .... Is anyone ever going run one of this bikes at the track ??? We had a Vrod and a rocket 3 at the track tonight so if a Vmax would have shown up he would have had someone his speed to run .. I think the Vrod ran 8s in the 1/8 and the rocket run 7.40s , that should be a good race for the allmighty Vmax .. The rocket 3 owner is adding a turbo shorty !!! watch out Mr Vmax ...lol..

The V-MAX was a preorder bike,so if your dealer didnt send Yammy a $1000 bucks per
bike along with name and address of the buyer no bike will be sent.Yammy sent me marketing crap along with a very nice hardbound book about the MAX well before the bike arrived at my dealer.

Yeah if he gets a big inheritance like I’m sure TankBoy got. Shit, truck driver - heavy EQ operator - aircraft mechanic - dispatcher; what is that about $14.50 hour combined? He couldn’t buy a toy tank with that income.
University Biology course??? Bullshit TankBoy!!!- you got an undergraduate degree so you could be an aircraft mechanic ? LMFAO!

quote: good thing the raptor is on our side... surprisingly enough, a helicopter can outslow a jet and terrain mask long enough for one of our other assets to get there. When we were at fallon NV we trained with some topgun guys and were able to "stay alive" for over 10 minutes until our friendly jets got there. Too bad they got tired of dicking around with us and as our jets came in to intercept they dropped a simulated 1000 lb bomb next to us.
The thing is with attack helicopters if they aren’t armed with side winders and are strictly in ground attack mode, I haven’t nothing to worry about; so I slow my F-16 down to say 200 KIAS and roll inverted and look around carefully - look for those whirling rotor blades.
I think I would use my gun on him - more sporting.
