Why don't we just wait to see what the reputable mags on THIS continent have to say about the 4 literbikes? Cuz, I haven't seen anything worth basing a purchase on yet. Why does that seem to be such a hard concept to accept?
I won't change my opinion because of bombardment with propaganda from honda loyalists.
I will change my opinion due to unbiased head to head testing from a mag w/ testers that have proven themselves in the past to give valid & viable stats, info, feedback etc.
Steve, your review from your demo ride will not be considered unbiased or viable, sorry. But, I'm sure we'll hear ALL about it anyway. lol......

No, the mags get it, at least the ones I've seen so far do. They just think that the Blade's sofisticated approach to a production superbike is better than the blunt instrument ZX on this occasion. The scalpel wins over the sledgehammer so far.

I'm not quite sure how you come to the sledgehammer analogy? Just because the ZX10 is a sharper scalpel isnt a bad thing, just requires a more capable surgeon to extract it's higher potential.

Why don't you just name the reputable mags? Or are you going to wait until one might put the 10R on top (yea right) and proclaim that mag "MOSTEST REPUTABLE"? LOL

I've read reviews from the Overseas mags. I've seen them come to completely different results than the mags I've come accustomed to giving accurate reviews. It's nothin' personal, I just want to see the results in a rag I respect. I dont respect results from tests with pages missing!
Thanks anyway.

What is the problem? I've stated that I'm basing my opinions of these bikes on what I'll get from mags I trust. That is that. We can go back & forth all day long, it's not going to change that fact.

Try naming the mags you "trust" before you read the results. LOL

I think it's the only thing left to do.
From the looks of it, he's been beat down quite frequently & that's produced no improvements in his disposition!

I'll b sure to post'em when I've seen the comparisions in those mags. Just not basing my possible purchase of a M/C on a rag I've never heard of. I've bought bikes based on what I believed were accurate reviews, the bikes acted as described. I've also seen completely flip flopped results from places like motorcycle.com. with less skilled individuals trying to ride these bikes & yes, of course the easiest to ride becomes the clear favorite. I want the bike that's gonna put me in front of you! I don't care if it's got alil' harsher ride when I'm doin 40mph in traffic. I've sat on the new CBR & I think it's a very tight fit for me w/ an extreme forward feel to the foot positioning. But, if it's the quickest way around the track I'll throw a set of rearsets on it & be on my way. If not, I'll move on to the next one. No, I don't have any brand loyalty. Just a loyalty to goin faster than the next guy!

So you're waiting to hear an answer you want to hear 1st, then that is a mag you trust. Got it.
As far as putting down the riders/journos for the mags(print or online) I'd be careful about that, a majority of those dudes ride circles around the average street riders, some of them are amateur/expert/pro racers. Plus they have the advantage of riding all the bikes back to back on equal tires, day, track, conditions with telemetry backing up what they see/say. Something none of us get.
Your best bet is to take all the mag tests for the year at different tracks with all the different riders and see what the general consensus is if you want to see which is the fastest.

Hey, guess what? I really don't give a fuck! This site is beginning to turn to shit faster than the 2008 ZX10R turns laps. I've got a wicked fast liter bike that I'll put against any of the big 4's latest & see'em all later.
I've evaluated a few bikes in my time. Been pretty good at pickin the good ones. I'll stick to the way i do things. You do as you please.
