WOW I just happened to come here to see when in the H*LL the last post was in here, and saw this :P
Ya I'll always post-up in 14.com cuz the folks there are THE BEST.
But what I was thinking about is posting all my Yamaha BS like mod pics and such in here. Its like if a man speaks in the woods and no woman is around to hear him, is he still wrong?

Steve.....Steve....Steve...?
Steve:
Post up all your R1 stuff bro. We will come find you and rag on it if need be. Seriously, I am curious to see how the R1 responds to a little TLC and tuning. Did you know I almost bought a Graves Motorsports tweaked R1 in '06? Since your a track guy, you know all about a certain R1 LE that frequents the CCS events with a delicious megaphone exhaust...Yes? Steve, I wanted to ask you how you like your R1 and the power it delivers.I currently live is Sanford but have been in Michigan for the past 12months on a job assignment. I've hoped that sometime in the near future we can all ride and I can join. I think the forums here rock and you learn so much from different peoples experiences. I've always admired the R! ! want to know how you felt about this machine(cornering and torque). do you miss the 14? I know they're are more cool personalities on these site that ride as a group also and hopefully I can join the group and add to the fun........

Hi Superman T, I'm loving the R1 although the litre bikes are all so close these past few years. And I'm not brand loyal, I've owned everything except Yamaha until now.
I like the R1 more for my riding style. It may be a half second slower in a quarter mile, but it feels 500 pounds lighter and I certainly enjoy the faster corner speeds and decreased brake distance of the litre bike. The 14 was more comfortable and still handled reasonably well.
A friend of mine just got rid of his 14 for a Gixxer 1000 litre bike. They are supersweet too for sure
