Yeah got the S1000RR ,first Beemer that I ever even looked at in a showroom.
One short test on the demo bike and I was signing my name. Bike is great
and I am very happy. I have had countless Jap bikes going back into the 70's
but this bike hauls right out of the box.

I know Brocks Performance just bought and built one for the strip and it's running FAAAAST -- 8.49sec 1/4 mile! And no spray or turbo......yet. It's got the power of a ZX14 with the stance of a 1000........wish I had that kind of money, I'd love to build a new track bike -- but bills prevail once again.

I saw the video of Brock's toy ripping it up,not much of a drag racer but cool.
You should try one, the Japanese have raised their prices so much the new
Beemer is not pricey at all. I bought a base model with only the $450.00 quickshift.

I truly wish I was in the market, I'd love to build another track bike -- used to have an old thunderace ( YZF1000R ) and built it for track riding........had to sell her to buy my zx14. I've just got way too many toy payments as is, can't afford much else for now.

I had a 97 YZF1000R and still miss it. I traded it on an R1 in 99 . The R1 was a better track bike but the YZF was a great long distance bike, but you've got a ZX-14 that has that covered.

I LOVED my YZF......and it was a rare ride in these parts - nobody really knew what it was ( the less than saavy riders that is ). The bodywork and overall look of it just seemed timeless and most guys couldn't believe it was a 97 model. Handled like butter, especially after I fitted her with full Ohlins front and rear........got great deals on used race parts overseas -- my 08 ZX14 is kind of reminicsent of it.........low, long, and a wide brute of a machine.

I got mine from a dealer here in Nashville, they have moved out 11 units so far.
Good numbers from a small BMW dealer,my first Beemer.
If the 600 shows up this fall it will be interesting to see how it sells.

If the new 600 lives up to the hype, it should rule in supersport..........after some initial development of course. Hopefully it's equally powerful in it's class as the WSB Beemers are about the only inline company holding their own with the Aprilia's and Duc's this early in development.......it's gonna be sweet
