Say 'ello to my LIL fren

Finally got that hot tempered Italian girlie I've been wanting. What do you guys think of her? Now that I have my twisty bike, I do believe I'm gonna have to stretch ol' Zed 14 out to about 62", make it a little bit more launch friendly at the drag strip. I'll be looking for some good 2" to 6" extensions.

Thanks so much. She's a beaut!!! What a different feel than the 14.

By the way, I have my 14 in the middle hole in the back. When I stretch it, I'd like to lower the front a bit as well. How much do most of you lower the front? Half inch or so?

This bike is so slick that even 10 years later the Bimota DB7 looks almost exactly the same.

That's one of the best lookin bikes I've seen in person!
If your gonna stretch the 14 I've ran 2 sets of extensions from www.allthingschrome.net and they go to 9" really good stuff and cheaper than roaring toyz

LOL, damn dubious! Nah, that's a fake one that the new wifey brought. Thanks all for the great comments. Some ducatisti don't care for the 999, but it has been my favorite for a long time. This one has too many really cool aftermarket items to list, and was meticulously taken care of. Has 4 track days on it as well, which I like. Can't stand race bikes that have never been raced. I had it delivered to a Kawasaki dealer near my new house. When I walked in, the dude working there said, "Man, that bike is S I C". He said he didn't want to sit on it cause it would just piss him off.
Now it's time to talk to Mr. Cheese about a few things for the 14...

By the way, Sup T., it is a 2005 with an "S" type monoposto and full termi w/race ecu, along with a slobber list of aftermarket parts. I got a spectacular deal that included a set of track plastics. Could not have asked for more.

Nice Bike Smoke...Those Ducati's with the dry clutches and aftermarket pipes sound just plain awsome, and not like a kawi or suz u see at every corner. Very nice!!

Nice Duck Smokehouse. I always like the 916 too. At 6'3" I am just too tall to

ride a 999 for long distances.

Yes Mr. Lab, it is pretty cramped. I have no plans whatsoever of riding any major distances with it, though. Most longer distance stuff would go to the 14 without a doubt. I haven't set it up for me yet. It is set up for a man about 5'9" and about 185, and I'm 6'4" and about 230. I will start fiddling and adjusting soon to help it fit me a little better. By the way, I'm hoping to get up to the DFW area with the 14 sometime in the near future and hit a track with you and Wheelie and some of the guys around there. I grew up in the area, and my mom still lives up there.
