DUCATI ANNOUNCES 2007 NATIONAL DEALER AWARD WINNERS
Troy Bayliss co-hosts award ceremony
Cupertino, CA (September 17th, 2007) - Ducati North America is proud to announce the winners of the annual "National Best" dealer awards. These are the highest honors a Ducati dealer can receive, and are given out once a year. The event takes place at a special dinner celebration, held in conjunction with the national dealer meeting.
This year's national dealer meeting was held in Monterey, California at the historic Golden State Theater, with two days designated as formal business meetings, while the third day was set aside for riding on the world famous Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca.
The awards dinner and ceremony was co-hosted by Ducati North America's CEO, Michael Lock and Xerox Ducati World Superbike Rider Troy Bayliss. During the course of the evening, they entertained the 300+ crowd with lively anecdotes and plenty of humor. A good time was had by all and the party carried on until the wee hours of the morning.
"It was a wonderfully executed event, and I was entertained start to finish. The awards ceremony is always a great time, and I'm already looking forward to next year!" said Jeff Nash, of Advanced Motorsports. "The DNA staff put on an amazing show."
The "National Best" dealer awards; which typically go to the best performing Ducati retailers, are the highlight of the annual dealer meeting. Earning one of these awards demonstrates that the dealer has set the benchmark for performance over the last year.
In addition to the Top Dealer awards, Ducati North America inducted Troy Bayliss into the Ducati Hall of Fame. The Hall of Fame is a recognition to those who have made Ducati the legendary brand it is today. As the winner of two World Superbike Championships and a countless number of races for Ducati, Troy was a natural choice for this honor.
Ducati North America salutes the winners of the Dealer Awards and acknowledges the professional accomplishments and personal success of everyone involved.
