Hypermotard anyone?

Well, It looks like I'm tradin' in the HD Street Rod for one of these Hypermotard puppies. If they'll take my HD for a trade(which they say they will) I'll be on a Hypermotard. I thought long & hard on the 1098S and decided that I need 3 track bikes like a hole in the head. So, I went & straddled a Hypermotard. This thing is "SWEET"! I'm gonna go for the "S" model. The only down side is, they won't sell me the one on the floor. I must order mine & wait 4 to 6 weeks. I found that alittle disheartening.

I will say this though, sitting on this oddly attractive steed made me want to romp through the streets on Manhattan on a nice summer night. I've never wanted to do city runs with any of my bikes but, the extra long travel on this thing kinda made me feel like a kid sitting on his first dirtbike.

I'm psyched!

I rode one a couple weeks ago. I think it could use a little more power (what can't?) but it is great fun, does everything superbly, and will most likely get you into big trouble unless you excecise great self control. I recommend it highly.
I THINK, though that I will ride a SuperDuke and sample the extra power it has before I chose which one of those might be for me.

I've got the Streetrod on consignment right now at the HD Dealer so, when(if) it sells I'll do alittle shopping. The SuperDuke R was something that caught my eye. I'm gonna see what the availability is on the R. Looks kinda scarce!
