Is the 1098 a Good "Beginner's Bike"? A picture is worth a 1000 words!

Sent to me from a local paper.. Apparently bike was the 25 year old pilot's 1st ... brand new - just got it... launched himself into traffic at 150 km/h and didn't know what to do, so he grabbed a handful of brake. Yes, the Brembos work!

Well,if you think about it no bike is a good begginer's bike.

You just need a head screwed right and most importantly,be really afraid of the machine.

Perhaps he played too much motogp and tought that he'd crash and auto get back on the road?

No matter, facts are the facts...I pulled on him like he was on a 600. I'll just take my 10R and eat a few more desmo's along the way, but to be fair, I told next time I'd give him a break and just run him on my big heavy pig of a 14, just to give him an advantage...

looks like the typical ducati rider to me, the ones i see have the biggest chicken strips at bike night, they buy them because they are posers.
this may not be true in all parts of the country, but it is a fair observation.
i will run one anytime.

1098 is about handling, corners, etc.
Sounds like you're boasting about a drag race using a modified ZX10. Totally irrelevant!
