'07 vs '08
finally found a 2007 1098S, in black. Have not taken delivery yet. Then a friend just told me he sourced another one - an '08 - and that I can have it in 20 days. anyone know anything about 08's? I'm assuming they're mechanically identical. is it worth waiting for? I can't think of any pros/cons myself...
anyone?

beewhy, have you found out any info on this? Isn't it a tad early to be getting 2008's? And around here the Duc dealer can't even get a 2007 in a timely manner?

i think Ducati has already sold all of its 07's and from what I understand once the run is complete you can't just add more bikes on. I'm assuming it's a financial/books issue. so i think they are just continuing to bang them out because of all the demand and just badging them as 08's.
bottom line is I took the 07 in black and I will be getting on it next week as soon as I get back from the Isle of Man. Shame, not one 1098 out here. three Mille's but no Ducs.

Go for it.
Or you could just wait for the 1198/1199?

08's are in fact being produced and will start being delivered at the end of this month.
