Paint Sux
Tank paint wearing where your legs go. ONly 300 miles. Nice. Maybe time to get the whole bike painted with stock Ducati red... and a PROPER coat of clearcoat.

waiting on testing ventureshield... will report back asap with findings.... yes paint is soft... buffing it out wont help.. have tried mothers and novus 2+1 (novus fixes anything).. only cure will be some sort of 3m solution, however I did note that the manufacture date on my 1098 was feb 07... so it's fresh off the boat and the paint is prolly not even 1/2 cured... does seem to be firming up, but I did hit a swarm of mas-grande flying ants yesterday... that cant help

LOL - ANY make has dealers that will overcharge you bro. Sounds like you have a hate on for the Duc? Why - she's an AMAZING steed. You should try one out.

The Ventureshield kit has two panels for the tank sides and does a perfect job of protecting the paint - I highly recommend it.
