yea we know, that's why stealth bombers have to fly12k miles one way, from Whiteman AFB Missouri, to drop a few bombs on some radar equiptment while the carriers off the coast are launching strike aircraft

...as far as amenities go, the USAF has the best, even for non-coms...the only times I shared a room was in basic and tech-school and that was with just another classmate...the rest of my tour I had my own room like an effeciency apartment, not some 40~60man bay where your "room" is defined by where the wall lockers are in relation to your bunk....so yeah, the USAF is the best place to be...the pay is basically the same

AF, you think riding a bike is fun, sssshhhiiitttt, you have no idea, all it takes is a BA and perfect health and you're a God.

It isn't that hard either with fly-by-wire, sure you can load up too quick like the recent Blue Angel and black out and dig a hole but when fun flying you take it easy!!!

Imagine your own $200 mil plane [f22], mach 2.5, with your name on it.

Air Force... 1975-1979..great way to start life...

They offered lots of opportunities in various technical fields ; they required the highest score on pre-enlistment military tests to enlist back then..

Navy came in second and may have high tech jobs as well.. but who wants to be at sea for months?? not I Sir. Army and Marines were for just common grunts...
