DUCATI HYPERMOTARD 1100 GOES INTO PRODUCTION
As disclosed on a number of occasions by the company and recently confirmed on the DESMOBLOG by President and CEO, Federico Minoli, production has now begun of the long-awaited Ducati Hypermotard 1100 in the Borgo Panigale factory.
The production schedule for this new model has been fully respected and the first bike came off the production line on 18 April.
The new Ducati Hypermotard 1100 bikes will arrive on the market in Ducati's official dealer network by the end of May.
In the rest of Europe the bikes will also be delivered at the end of May, while they are due to arrive in the USA and Australia in the month of July.
Expectation is high of what promises to be another extraordinary Ducati success.

Bad news, the "Hyper" Motard is not hyper at all. It does NOT have the highly touted 1098 engine.
What you get is the air cooled 1078 two valves per cylinder engine with 90 horsepower, presumably at the crank.
What is Ducati thinking?
