The Qwack has arrived! *pix*
After a whirlwind tour and a 10 hour drive each way, through the mountain pass and the snow, we've finally got our hands on our brand new 1098! We left at 3 am on Thursday morning and drove non-stop to get there and back.
Huge thanks to Kathy Jo and Dave from Bend Euro Moto for hooking us up with the bike in very cool (tax free) Oregon  ... and to Ducati North America for their assitance...
Initial impressions? None right now... I'm running on about 4 hours sleep in 2 days and 20 gallons of Red Bull ... it's amazing that I can stay awake to type this... Also a big thanks to PK for sticking with me and driving the night shift, and Doug Meyer for telling us about Bend Euro Moto...
Just finished washing the 1098 off and got it up on it's stand... now I need to get some sleep... It's POURING rain out right now but sun is in the forecast for the weekend
I'll post up some pix in this thread...

Yes... and no.... couldnt get it inside (not for lack of trying)... did lock it down with a cobralinks and a Xena... luckily crackheads didnt get to it...

I heard that fish...........like I said............I would have been worried.  Glad all went well, and looking forward to your impressions. The local dealer here said 08's in or around July. Licken' my chops as we speak................

Congrats on Bike Fish, can't wait to hear your opion on what you think of it and if you have any issues. I'm still thinking about one myself. Think my corvette is sold next sunday then I will be toy shopping!
