...yeah!...like...who will be the first member to post a real-person-on-the-street ride report  ...and I'd like to see a 1098 vs R1-LE battle of the 'affordable moto-exotics' just for shits and grins...
...my local dealer said 1098 deliveries will begin "in March"....red, please...
(clarification: when I asked my step-daughter's magic eight-ball if daddy will get one, it came back "NO"  ....I asked again with all my might and it wa sure and it came back "YES"...damn  ...but if I was fortunate enough to get one it'd HAVE to be red)

Kawi promised Zx14's last March but dudn't deliver here in FL till April.....hopefully Duc rolls them out on time

Just saw the new 1098s last night (in the flesh), swweeeeettt.
No need for the Termi's its loud enough as it is. I also heard that it's been geared to 186mph.

oh. and it'll wheelie in 1,2,3,4 and 5th. i'm asuming 1 and 2 and maybe 3rd on the throttle and the rest with a dose of clutch.
placed my deposit last night too. roll on April.

Hi. New to the site, it looks good! I've got a deposit on a red 1098S at MotoCorsa, and can't wait to take delivery. I've seen the dyno charts and it certainly looks ready to back up it's good looks performance wise. I'll keep in touch and post impressions once I get the bike. My current street bike is an 99' R1 with 56K on it. I also endurance race with some buddies at OMRRA. I like things that WORK. Ta Ta
