Regarding the muddy ones, we have one or two vehicles that probably would make it but those hillsides would scare the piss out of me. I drove my Hummer along a trail once with two tires several feet up the shale cliff to prevent the low side tires going over the sheer cliff face below but I was on the uphill side of the truck. Coming down the hill later I decided I was an absolute idiot and promised myself I wouldn't attempt something so stupid ever again.

and people say I am crazy for racing my bike and wanting to go over 200mph.... you could pay me to walk that plank, but it would have to have some serious zeros after the #....

They had a special on Dicovery or NG (can't remember which) a few days ago that was about the "Road of Death" in Bolivia. Very good show and that is 92 miles of very spooky road.
One of the weirdest (and almost funny if it wasn't so tragic) wrecks recently was a mountain biker that was on the downhill stretch and got pre-occupied watching birds on the way down.
Went right off the edge and landed 3,500 ft. down. Darwin Award winner there I guess.

I saw that "Road of Death" doc., how about that guy who plunged over the cliffs in a bus.... TWICE!
...I think this was the story.....He and his son were on a bus that drove off the cliffs...killed his son but they never recovered the body...the guy was going back to look for his son and THAT bus went off! Now that's either some real shit luck, or fantastic luck to survive 2 drops, depending on how you look at it.
