Poll Question:
How many Aprillia riders are there in bikeland?
There weren't any Aprilia-specific posts here, so somebody had to start one, right?

02 standard with a lot of carbon fiber.
After bolt ons, dyno'ed at 120hp and 80lbs. I ride the hell out of it, even with my other bikes.

You can get excellent deals on used Aprilias. I don't know why more people don't know about the brand?
They used to be a no-no in Canada?

Got an 03 Colin Edwards Replica with all the trimmings and then some, this is a great bike to ride and the faster the better as it is a bit of a hand full 120kmh's and above is when this bike starts to make sense.
Rock solid chassis and incredible suspension/brakes but a real tyre eater particularly the rear it just rips them to shreads. Mods so far are a custom set of WSB pipes with a set of Volta Moto WSB rear sets and RP shift 2" higher 2" back, New volt ignition, PC111, Evo Race air box, Billet inlet trumpets, Adjustable fuel regulator, Evo billet clutch master cylinder, I stripped the bike then had the entire fairing Clear coated what a job!
Don't ride it that much only 8k in three years but if I sold it a very rare animal. I was lucky to have the bike signed by Colin Edwards when he was out here as well as a long talk with him a really friendly funny guy.
I often wonder why I bought the bike then go for a blast and all my doubts are answered not as viseral as my trick 10R but it has a feeling that Jap bikes just can't manage yet and thats the appeal. (If I knew how to post a pic I would.)

I sure dig the RS250. Wish we could still get street legal 2 strokers over here.

Where are these deals!? The only Aprilia deals I've found in FL is the OTD price at the stealership, someone must be hiding the bikes around here

I'll have to admit....... the thought has crossed my mind about offing the RS to purchase the RSV Factory??? Maybe come spring??

...I rode a friend's piped Falco one weekend...sounded nasty...everytime I started it up, I'd see peopel's head swivel towards me...and I didn't even blip the throttle...  ...was a comfy bike with its corbin seat

Everytime I ride mine and let it sing its song, I realize that'll be one of the last bike I'd sell.
I've got mine derestricted and the 'open' airbox.

I have an 07 Tuono. I love this thing in the canyons. You don't realize how fast you are going until you look at the speedo.
