What other site forums for GSXR?

This site is very informative for the Kawi's, but not so developed for the Suzuki bikes yet.
What other good sites are there for Suzuki?
Gixxer.com is OK, but alot of squidly spooge to sift through on there. Drowning in newbie posts, and common simple information.
I want the meat and potatoes.
I am looking for really good instal, modification, technical, performance information.

What are the best, organized and informative sites for guys who are experienced wrench's?
Any good bike build up sites with good information would be great too... especially geared for the turbo crowd!

will be buying a 2005-2008 gsxr1000 to build and turbo.
maybe a 2004-2008 zx10, but preferably a GSXR.

Thanks,
Lyle

gixxer.com is no longer a forum... it's owned by a multinational marketing company - so is kawiforums.com and a whole bunch of others...

bikeland's actually one of the few remaining "independent" and "free" sites now...

pretty fuckin' scary

I bet 99% of the people out there arent even aware that they've been "bought"

I have to agree about the commercial sites....

After my success hacking the zx-12 ECU I wanted expand technology to include more bikes. I went to a busa forum and now tuners on two continents are reflashing their stock Hayabusa ECUs and we all learned the 32bits could also be flashed. I went to the TL1000R forum within two weeks people were flashing their own ECUs. I went to Gixxer.com and GSXR.com and they deleted my posts as spam because I was asking people to send me their broken ECUs to hack.

I wrote them back and told them traffic is what gets them add revenue and my posts on ECU generate interest.

My thread here with 600 replies and 28,500 views
TLR thread 479 replies, 13,000 views
Busa thread 339, 4800 views

I think that is pretty short sighted of them. They view their users as a captive commodity and nobody is allowed to benefit, financially or otherwise, from access to them. I understand that to a point. I had no problem paying Fish to sell something on this site. But I was trying to do something mutually beneficial that was actually of more benefit to GSXR owners than to me and involved no money changing hands. You give me knowledge and I'll give you knowledge.

It is a sad trend.

How true. You will notice the advertising is now moving away from the specialty vendors who have all the cool stuff to big box Dennis Kirk type.
