07/08 GSXR1000 weight
After seeing the 471 lbs for the stock GSXR1000 compared to the 02's est. 435 lbs alot of people have said it's all in the stock dual exhaust system with cats and crap. How much weight has been pared off these things with full aftermarket pipes?
Personaly I don't see a full exhaust taking 36 lbs off of them.

I don't have any " hands on " numbers for you, but my 01 seriously undercuts the 07/08 weight. Mine was 436 with a VERY full tank when it was stock. I have an exhaust system off one of Matt Mladin's bikes, along with the offset oilpan and some other goodies, and the bike is down in 600cc weight territory now.
