1. Earth forms.
2. Japan after many years of war decides to chill the fuck out and build cool cars and motorcycles
3. Suzuki Motorcycles opens for business
4. RE-5 is created. WHAT
5. Somewhere in 1982-1984, performance assumes a higher priority than build quality.
6. Ethnically confused white kids rally to the marque, propelling the brand to stardom. P-Diddy proclaims the Hayabusa as "THE black man's ride"
7. After market motorcycle component warehouses have to quadruple floor space to accommodate 10 foot and greater streched and chromed swingarms. Harley-Davidson lodges an official complaint, citing that they require at least 60% of the world's chrome output to remain in business.

Kinda confused here (after all I'm a zuki owner). Do we post here for articles ABOUT Suzuki history, or for our own bike history of Suzuki motorcycles and -gulp- cars?
If thats the case; '83 GS550E & GS750E, '84 GS550ES, '02 TL1000R. That covers my 'zukis. The rest were Kawi's. Screw HonDear and YamaHappy. heh heh eat your heart out steve.

I have owned alot of Suzuki's..First one was a X6 hustler..Forget the year..Early 60's..Also had a 78GS1000..Put a American Turbopak Turbo on it..Really fast back then..Broke alot of clutch baskets as there were no aftermarket's clutch hubs back then..Had a 80 GS1100,red and black 1985 1150E,red and white 86 1150ES,1990GSXR1100 b/w,1999 Copper Busa,1999Black silver Busa..Now own a 06 LE Busa and a 06 ZX14 Red..Have to say I love both the Busa and 14..Best of both worlds..Also I am 56 years old and drag race my Busa and 14 every chance iget..

"70" T500III, the bike had no handling but was a great commuter going over 70k miles. "77" GS400, early hassles with the cam then an ignition coil problem on one bank. Considered a Busa but went with the ZX 14.

Yes sir!!! Sold it off unfortunetly. The 86 500's came in so fat they ran like crap. Most people would turn down the oil pump but we went the other way. Opened up the air box, took the screens out of the air inlets, milled .03mm's off the slides, along with going up in the main and pilot jets.. Down the mile long straight at Brainerd these bikes would pull the 750's with ease.
The Black and White's where refered to as Dunlop Replica's with only 86 being produced in 86. The more well known Walter Wolf Editions came in dark Blue numbering 100.
