How Stout is the '03 1k Engine
I'll be picking up a nice '03 in March. The bike already has pcusb, arata, and billet clutch basket installed.
I see that Muzzy's make a +50 hp n20 kit. Will the engine hold up for long with that kind of boost? 50 seems like a lot, when the zx-12 kit is only a 40 hp kit.
I plan to take the bike to the maxton mile. I was thinking of toning it down, maybe a 30 shot, since it will spraying for about 15 seconds.
Anyone real-world feedback on this bike and n20?

keep the oil and clutch fibers handy everyone that has a big shot on theirs has gotten lazy on the oil change and spun bearings

I have seen quite afew 03' and 04's with spun mains. Particularly if you ride long wheelies on them. Get the rear mounted oil pickup tube seems to be the cure. I must have had 10,000 miles on the rear wheel of my 02' 1000, oil light never once came on.
