Not a pretty pic..blown headgasket and apparently valves have been slapping since my long trusted shop pulled the head and repaired the fuckup from a carbon fibre tank desolving with race gas...looks like someone forgot too check ptv clearance.
This time I pulled the motor and head myself and discovered also had detonation issues and toasted the pistons, how I dunno always ran good expensive 100+ octane gas
Mixed ideas on what to do with it. Already a 1070, do a good head job, better cams, ceramic coat the pistons and combustion chambers, friction coat the carillos and crank or low cr pistons and a blower. One will be pretty quick turn around, the other another long build

no, the 1000 is longer....more roomy if you will.....when we swapped bikes, I noticed that the reach was alot longer on his than on mine, I think that's because I have a shorter tank than his, so I sit further up on mine......(I gotta admitt though, his is a rocket in the straight aways)

hey guys, new here on the forums
just finished doing most of the work to my k3 1000. Still have some things to take to paint, and I'm not sure what the previous owner was thinkin with the LCR decal, but I love her all the same.
PS: who noticed the fat Pirelli logo with those nice BTO 16's? XD
