97' Gixxer 750
Less than 5000 miles (on my word!! as it broke the MPH/ODO sensor 127 miles after i got bought the bike. It stopped reading...just bought new sensor cable and odo is around 300 now.
2 Full race Upper fairing bracket
W.E.R. Steering damper
Braided Brake Lines - Front and Rear
Carbon Loraine Breaks - Front and Rear
G.M.D. Sweet #'s - Race worked and Race day maintained forks (springs, valves, shims, adjustments etc...)
G.M.D. Sweet #'s - Installed/Maintained Penske Triple Adjustable race shock (Only 3 Race weekends and a few track days. Bike has always been loaded for transport backwards due to High $$$ fork work and adjustments)
Bone Stock - Engine (Silkolene oil only), Carbs and Exhaust are all stock (suspension was targeted as the smartest and most important investment)
Body work in above average shape with pretty new paint and only a few scratches.
Many of spare/Misc parts (Rotors, Stock engine cases, extra break calipers, Extra Damper Bracket and Mount, extra Fairing Bracket and many other small but very useful parts if crashed.
Year - 1997
Date Purchased New - 6/99 (Dealer Left over from Idaho) with clean (paid cash) one owner title.
I bought this bike from a Buddies family Suzuki dealership in Burley Idaho 6/99 ...and yes...i know it is a 1997'. Business was slow up there in cold country so i flew up and Rode this dealer left over down to Yuma Az and then trucked it from there to Dallas.
History:
Back in early winter of 2000 in to 2001...i got a wild hair and a case of frost bite...i decided to take the bike down to the frame and polish it. Got about 80% completed and then got to the vertical pourous alluminum portion...got tired of trying to complete this frame....bought a new 2002 Gixxer 1000. Bike was staged in garage for reassembly at a later date. BTY..never polish a frame...too much work.
Decided i wanted to get back in to Motorcycle Road Racing in Jan 2003 and figured i have this payed for bike in my garage doing nothing. I sold "ALL" stock body work and got all race body work. Seeing as i was going to be racing..i needed an all around yet sound race bike. So here it is what i decided to spend the money on. .supsension, bike set up and did i say suspension. (My race weight with leathers and full gear is 200lbs)
Bike was a top 5 front runner during starts and in to a few laps. Bike has a 3rd place podium finish and solid performance with only a few races weekends on the bike.
