FS: 2002 Passion Red ZX12R - Fully Optioned Out

For Sale:

I have a beautiful mint condition Passion Red 2002 Kawasaki ZX12R. This is a two owner bike, with very low kms. I purchased this motorcycle from the original owner in Ontario (Muskoka Area). The first owner was obsessive compulsive with maintenance and care and so am I. Every time the bike is in the garage, it is plugged in to a battery tender to maintain its charge. Fluids are changed regularly, and oil every spring and fall, even though it wasn’t required. As it is evident from the mileage, it has been ridden sparingly. It has seen rain maybe 5 times total. This machine has never been to a track or a drag strip, has never been crashed, and has never fallen over.I didn’t list this bike for sale over the winter, as I wasn’t willing to start it in the cold. Now that it's nice again, it’s time for her to go to a new home.

This is a high horsepower bike with an extremely powerful engine. With the current set up and pc3 tune, its dynode around 165- 175 horsepower, and over 100 lbs. of torque. It was released to be the direct competitor for the Suzuki Hayabusa and they are almost identical in every aspect EXCEPT body styling. You will be able to gain and pass a 1000cc sport bike at full throttle. You can also use this to cruise across country comfortably. The rear cowl is removable and has a large comfortable passenger seat (no, really) and riding 2 up is not as cramped as a 1000cc or 600cc bike.

The bike has been upgraded with the following parts, and if that isn’t to your liking, all the original parts are boxed and bubble wrapped and can be reinstalled.

Included with the sale:

• Printed and bound service manual ($30)
• printed service manual in a 3 ring binder (so pages can be replaced if necessary) ($20)
• digital pdf service manual (makes searching very simple)

• Full Akrapovic exhaust system headers, mid pipe and carbon fiber exhaust pipe ($1200)

• Power commander 3 USB computer with custom dyno mapped tune specific to the exhaust and air filters ($319)
• Gilles tooling fully adjustable rear sets w/ carbon fiber heel guards ($600)
• Pazzo adjustable brake and clutch levers. These have a multiple positions of adjustment as well.
• Galfer super bike rotors, front and rear ($180)
• Cox radiator guard ($90)
• Professionally painted under tail w/ functional turn signals integrated into it ($160)
• Clear alternatives clear lens integrated tail light ($80)
• Smoked lens integrated tail light. ($40)
• Smoked flush mount front turn signals ($20)
• Professionally painted hugger for the rear tire with integrated chain guard ($170)
• Zero gravity smoked double bubble wind screen. Redirects the flow of air higher to increase rider comfort ($70)
• Carbon fiber (real) air intake covers ($200)
• Carbon fiber (real) front fender (in box never installed) ($350)
• Carbon fiber (real) triple tree cover ($50)
• Carbon fiber (real) tank protector ($30)
• Licence plate bolts are white LED so it can be mounted anywhere. ($20)
• And more, I’m going from memory at this point

Also included in the sale are original parts that were removed from the bike that were replaced with aftermarket parts. These are boxed and bubble wrapped:
• Brake rotors
• Levers
• Rear sets
• Air filters
• Chain guard
• Full titanium stock exhaust
• And much much more

The cost of the aftermarket parts are around $4500.00 assuming you can locate them and the costs to ship and import them into Canada isn’t added to that price. Then you have to install them.

I spent a lot of time and effort making this bike and I hope it shows. Passion Red is a one year colour option, and optioned out like this, you will never see another ZX12R set up this way.
