I am forced to sell due to a serious shoulder injury that is ending my racing career. I love this bike and hate to part with it, but don't want it sitting in the garage teasing me all summer! Over $20K invested including the original cost of the bike.
Buy this one and go embarrass some big bikes!

1st time at the track
Broke the bike in right tonight! A friend who is about 205# suited rode the bike for me, since I am "indisposed" at the moment. He got 4 runs in before the track closed due to lightning.
His first run off the trailer was a 9.95 at 144 rolling off the line (1.76 60') and shifting at 10K rpm.
The next 2 passes he was trying to leave like he does with his '14 (not enough RPM) and bogged on each run. Those were 9.76 and 9.75. The last run he wicked it up a but, shifted at 12,700, and went a 1.52 60' (slight bog), 9.38 at 147.
All these times with DA of 2190', not good air around here tonight. I am thrilled; the bike ran straight and true, no issues other than having to adjust the ride height to accommodate his added 25#. Good night for sure. A little more time to work on the 60s and he would have been in the 9.20s. Not bad for guessing on the tune, bad air, and the first time ever on the bike (oh - and ZERO miles on the engine!)!

Damn it jim did you have to say my weight LOL. Guys this will make a good fast bike for someone. I have no doubt with 3 or 4 more runs and no changes to the bike I could have went a 9.0 to 9.12 and then a little more rpms on the shifts and 8.90's at my weight in bad air are there for sure! And this is Pump gas as well. Thanks again Jim for the chance to ride it.

Thanks Bently, you did me a BIG favor testing the bike tonite!
Tomorrow the break-in 15W Rotella gets drained and the 5W synthetic goes in. Once the good stuff is in there we'll explore the untapped potential in the extra 1000 rpm left out of the programming for the break-in runs. Should be interesting, since the cam timing favors the higher rpms.
A couple of weeks after my surgery I'm taking the bike to the dyno to get the A/F ratio right across all RPMs. Pipe bracket is fixed; there's more ground clearance on the RH side for turns now.
Bently wasn't kidding guys- all this on month-old 93 octane Shell V-Power fuel, AND a rider who had never thrown a leg across the bike before tonight. Hell of a rider for sure...
Thanks again buddy,

If anyone is at all interested I can bring the bike to the NHDRO meet in Muncie June 8-10. I am headed that way to see family anyway and anyone with cash in hand is welcome to make a pass or two (as collateral, just in case of a mishap...). I am still in a sling and cannot race but I sure can load up and tow the bike. PM me if interested. Jim

ZX10 No longer for sale
I am just going to keep the bike - I couldn't replicate it for the money I was asking anyway. I'll just run it next season.

Ive been through shoulder injuries/surgeries, and months of PT. you will be happy you kept it to race when you are back to normal, or at least close enough to ride.
