2007 zx14 motor
Just trying to get an idea of worth.....
#1 cylinder inhaled a wellnut. The piston was quite scored and was replaced. The head took a beating and now has a good head I had as a backup for my own. The cylinder wall itself has three small pits near the top (2mm diameter x 1mm depth is the largest) The motor still runs well though.
I am certainly no engine building professional, but I assume with this small amount of damage the cyclinder could be replated, or the block would make an excellent candidate for an oversized bore.
I won't compromise my integrity by selling this off without full disclosure. I nedd a few extra $'s for a couple bolt-ons I'm looking at, so I'm trying to estimate value. Motor would be complete but WITHOUT throttle bodies or ECU/wire harness
