As promiced a little more info...
at the end of last season in the staging lanes a well nut inside the air box tore from the body work and got sucked into the #3 throttle body which scattered all 4 valves and #3 piston. I've heard of a few others this has happened to. Anyway, over the winter the block was replated by US Chrome in NY, the head was repaired by Fast by Gast, stock pistons and rings were ordered, the balancers were removed, the secondairies were removed, an APE manual cam chain tensioner was installed and it was all re-assembled. The bike has 9595 miles on it and just over 1k on the motor since the work was done. The head and bore are still in stock configuration. The arm is the alumi-pro model from Macintosh w/air and bottle bracket. There is a black double bubble on it now. Hyper-Pro steering stabilzer installed. Brocks heavy clutch springs also.
Shinko Hook-Up is almost new. Chain is a EK ZVX2 chrome and there are Vortex sprockets on it. 16/47 is whats on it now. The bike has been 9.32 @ 153mph with me on it at 260lbs. There is a Catalyst drag seat going with it as well as any stock parts I have like sprockets etc. I'm a 49 yr.old so I don't do wheelies for half a mile or burn outs in parking lots or street race so the bike is not beat on daily. I drive it to work when its dry and race it 2 times a month at a local track for fun. It runs very very well...no BS.
