The race filter flows more...but this is definitely a step up from the stocker. The stock one has a restrictive metal plate on it!

This is a great choice for the street/strip rider who doesn't mind giving up a tiny bit of flow. This will also filter better than the race filter..

Good description Shane!.... The race filter will flow a little more air but, requires a more diligent maintanance schedule, especially if used on the street. The street version, flows a little better than stock,(with metal plate) not quite as well as the race but, won't wear out or need to be replaced. Cleaned and maintananced, it will last almost indefineatly.
