ZX12 For Sale - street legal, drag ready
As noted, my friend has a ZX12 for sale. The bike is entirely street legal, but has add-ons to make it perform better at the drag strip. Modifications include swing arm extensions, lower ratio sprockets, NO2 ready (with MPS Spider kit), MPS auto shifter (this is the black box with a "RPM" chip installed), MPS air shifter, onboard air compressor to refill air pressure after each pass, WEGO11 with O2 sensor, PC3 with mapping for aftermarket exhaust (sorry, I don't remember the brand of exhaust) and a kill switch with tether. There may be a few other goodies but that's what I remember right now.
The owner is a police officer, so you can be assured everything will be conducted legally. The bike is situated in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. Sending and receiving parts to/from the US has not been an issue for me, but there will likely be a small nominal fee to clear customs as the bike will not be returning to Canada.
The last time we talked he felt that a price of $5,000 was appropriate.
