2008 ZX14 Drag Bike For Sale/Trade
I built this bike piece by piece, starting with a 2008 motor with only 225 miles on it, and a perfect frame with a clean salvage title that didn’t have a scratch on it. I hand picked each part to be in perfect or excellent condition. I have raced it just this past season, and it probably has a total of about 75 passes on it. It has the stock wiring harness, and could be put back on the street if desired. The chassis is 70” wheelbase, and it works excellent. I’m 200 pounds in leathers and get consistent .136 - .138 sixty footers. It’s geared a little high at 17/45 for consistency without wheel stands. It would launch quicker with tighter gearing. I last raced at the final MIROCK race in MD and was still in Crazy 8’s when we rained out. In PRO-ET and Crazy 8 qualifying I ran (4) 8.94’s in a row on the motor. It has a 20 shot of NOS on it, but I run it at very low bottle pressure, like 650 pounds because at my weight I need just a little for the 8.88 index. So it’s probably running like a 12 shot that comes on in 2nd gear, and the only pass I ran it through without shutting down it ran 8.72 @ 160. The bike is set up with a PCV and a brand new MPS auto shift box. The shifter is on a timer so that if you spin or don’t get the clutch out quick enough it doesn’t try to short shift second. I put allot of thought, time, and money into building the bike, but I am thinking of getting out of racing so thought I’d see if there is any interest in it. I want $6000 for it cash, but might consider a trade for a late model street bike like a 14 or Busa that I can get my money out of. 70” wheelbase with under braced swing arm with air in the arm and a nice bottle bracket (not an extended stock arm)
Shortened, Resprung, and Revalved stock shock (chassis hooks excellent)
Front tubes internally shortened 2 ½” (no strap required)
Low profile front tire (Shinko)
Shinko Hook Up on the rear with about 30 passes
20 shot of NOS (only sprayed to run Crazy 8’s)
Cycle Concepts Lock Up (ran the entire season on the same clutch pack and it’s still going strong)
Auto Shifter with delay timer for activation 1 second off the clutch release
Power commander 5 with 2 maps, one for gas, and one for nitrous. Switches when NOS is armed
WOT switch for the NOS
Shift light (used for launch RPM light)
Brock Side Winder (Megaphone is a little rough as usual but the header section is perfect)
Drag seat

I actually own it now. I never knew this ad was on here lol. I straightened out the title so it can be registered and changed it around abit. Add alot to it. I would sell it for 7k if anyone was interested but no less. Heres a pic of it now.

Nice talking to you Peter,feel free to call anytime if you have anymore questions. I will get the current bikes of the bike off to you tomorrow.
Here is the specs of the bike as it sits now,
2006 blue plastics,Catalyst cut seat,14 over willis machine swing arm with air tank- bottle holder-underbracing and chain gaurd,flat link,adj lowering links,vortex sprockets,rcc swing arm pegs,osr cut pan, stainless muzzy sidewinder,osr oil cooler block off ,smog block offs,bmc race filter,flies removed,cycle tech single stage lock up,pc3,ign module,wideband commander,lcd100,muzzy digi kill 3 w co2 air shifter,plug and play teather kill,msd programmable shift light,gpr v4 stabilizer,braided rear brake line,tinted windscreen,smoked taillight and smoked directionals,mirror block offs,shorty brake and clutch levers,1/5th turn rifflemans throttle insert,tiger undertail...Iam sure Iam forgetting some stufff. Also included are a black zx10 front fender with two wheel works brackets and a blue zx10 fender along with the black and white plastic that was on it and a set of mismatched color factory kawi plastics. I was piecing togther a factory set before I got the 06 blue bodywork. Bike is located in s.e mass. Call,text or email anytime. THe bike WILL NOT dissapoint. It is a VERY clean bike.

lets see that SS...I have 88 model t top....388 roller stroker...325 nos. 125 out the gate 200 when second gesrs shifts...wana do something??
