FREE: '00 ZX-12R frame (clean title)

You read it right, FREE. It'll go to the first person who can make arrangements to come get it from my house near Tucson, AZ.

However, there's a catch. I will NOT ship it. I looked into this when I was trying to sell it, and quite frankly I don't have the time or desire to box or crate it up, especially when I'm giving it away. Do NOT email me asking to ship it. It is not worth my time or effort.

If no one can make arrangements within about the next two weeks, I'm going to take it to the local dump and toss it.

I put this up for sale 3 years ago when I parted out my 12R. I had a couple people interested but nothing serious. At this point, it's taking up space and I want it out of my garage.

It's a '00 ZX-12R frame, with a clean title. Never been wrecked. Everything in the picture is included (except it has stock links, and no triples). Frame, subframe, swingarm, rear shock, wiring harness and of course the clean title (which is out of Florida since I never transferred it here when I moved).

Unfortunately, the day Marcelo came by to pick it up, was the one day I ended up getting stuck with some BS at work and couldn't get home.

It's still here for the time being. Going to be gone if something can't be worked out. FWIW, it still has the Muzzy links on it, just didn't realize. Selling those would pay for the gas to come get it, lol.

Ya. Wasted half a day and a tank of gas driving to Tucson and back. Even called him the night before and texted him when I left Phoenix. No call to let me know he was going to be late, no offer to pay for the gas I wasted, not even an apology.

I didn't know I was going to be late. I received your text about you leaving and all was good. Not 5 minutes later I got caught up in a mess at work that I couldn't get away from. When I called you, I had just gotten back to my phone in my truck and was still out in the desert an hour and a half away from home. I actually didn't get home until almost noon. Had I known, I would have left it outside my front door with the signed title stuffed in the subframe. Sometimes, my work can be a bit unpredictable like that.

I apologized to you on the phone. Again, I'm sorry it didn't work out, it was beyond my control.

So you couldn't text or call me back when you got into a mess at work? You had to wait until I got to your house two and a half hours later?? Why didn't you call back after you said you were going to see what was up with your job? And why didn't you answer my calls when I tried calling you?? Your excuses don't make any sense.

I didn't hear anything resembling an apology on the phone.

Fair warning to anyone thinking about picking up this "free" frame.

When it kicked off, I didn't know how much of a "mess" it was going to turn into. For all I knew, at the time it started, I was going to be able to get back soon enough. When I called you, I had just gotten back to my truck where the phone was. I tried to call back an hour later when we had gotten things a little more wrapped up, but didn't have signal. By the time I had gotten out to civilization and a better signal, you were gone. I didn't receive any calls after I called you at 8am or whatever time it was. More than likely, because I didn't have service when you called.

Maybe you didn't want to hear it, but the first thing I said on the phone was I'm Sorry.

Why would I have someone drive two and a half hours to my own house, just to stand them up ? For my entertainment ? THAT doesn't make any sense.

I've been a member here for what, 7 years. I've bought a motorcycle, parts, and sold motorcycle parts all through this forum. Never had any issues.

I've had two money offers for shipping even after I specifically said I didn't want to deal with that, I'd rather give it away. I could easily sell the frame and all the other parts attached to it, either here, ebay, or psychobike. I'd still rather give it away (and it's still sitting here...)

As for my "excuses"... I'm a U.S. Border Patrol Agent. My "office" is out in the desert canyons and mountains near Nogales. Most days I can get out on time, or even a little early. Then there are those days when duty calls at the end of shift and trumps personal obligations, including giving someone several hundred dollars worth of motorcycle parts for FREE.

Again, I'm sorry it didn't work out. Bad timing.
