- WTB ZX-14 Cam Cap -
I have a head with a destroyed cap:

I'm looking for a replacement cap to have machined to fit my head. Basically, I'm not looking to spend a ton since the cost of machining is going to be high. If any of you have a trashed head, or just one of these caps laying around, please let me know.
PM me or email Shane at warp 12 racing dot com.
Thanks.

They are, but it is possible in some cases to build up and machine another cap...and re-bore.

Line bore like the mains on a Chavy V-8 block. Not just any machine can do this and hold close tollerence. Smaller boring bar needed.

I know on the old kz bikes I have put caps on from a different head and had them fit and measure perfect. stick it on and measure it you might be okay.

bump, I need the cam cap that goes closest to the cam gears (it's the only one that goes across both cams). If you have one, call/text me at (360) 481-8998, or email me at gilberjj@gmail.com (call/text preferred). I need this quick!
