Blue Book: $6,500 (With Average yearly milage) This bike is WELL below average.
Akro Evo Full Ti with Carbon cans: $2,000 New.
PCIII USB : $260.00 New.
The cost of pipe installation, mapping on a dyno do not need to be performed on this package.
Race Body work fitted and professionally painted? What is that worth?
Concider all the extra's including the Brembo master and a NEW AGM battery. This deal is mint and turn key!!
How about some offers?!?

Nice bike!
But on a more realistic note, look at the prices on the track bikes around.
You have a nice set up but are also missing must have pieces such as an aftermarket steering damper, brake calipers and rotors, 520 conversion etc.
You also need to factor in that for slightly over $7K you can get a brand new 08 10r still in the crate as dealerships are dying to get rid of the leftovers.

This is a STREET Bike. 5 trackdays does not constitute a "Track Bike".
The proper set up does not require an aftermarket damper.
Calipers are not the issue with the 06' 10's. The master cylinder is. See BREMBO.
520 conversion would be ok if you actually "Raced".
This bike is still in dealership condition. Did you see the miles?
Thanks!

As I said- the bike is nice. Not trying to bash here at all. People are just not buying bikes, times are tough I guess.
The example I can give is with my 07 zx14- I've put upward of $10K in mods alone, doubt I can even get $10 for the bike in a private sale (less than 6K on the clock). Trade in would be $7K.
We mod these things to hell but expecting the resale value to increase accordingly and that's just not the case.
I would consider parting out and selling some of the aftermarket stuff and race fairings and selling the bike closer to stock and with the oem bodywork on.
There are a few 10s in my local Craigslist for less than $6K and they all have the basic mods (exhaust, pc, air filter, damper etc.)
I would consider putting the bike on eBay too (with reserve!!!) and checking what bidders value it and what they are willing to offer.

I hear ya masszx14........
CL adds do show some 10's in the 6's......However, they are much higher in miles, poorly maintained and as you said "BASIC mods".
My 10 is in a highly refined state of OVERALL tune without going into the engine or adding devices that guarentee detonation. By overall, I mean from excelleration, suspention to braking.
Parting out may occur here soon!!
Anyone want to make offers for me to take parts off and sell?!?

Who's smokin?!?
It is apparent you do not realize what would have to be invested into a 10 to have an overall package like this one.
Let's hear your expert opinion on what you think this package is worth.
Keep in mind. KBB has this model in stock conditon with average miles at 6,500.
Mine has low miles well below average, ALL the stock parts, many, many pricey extras in cluding the Catalist Composite fully fitted and professionaly painted farings.

KGB dosent sell bikes, they give a suggested price. That dosent mean that's what they will sell for. Look at how many zx14's have sold for $6,000??? Kbb would be $7500+ plus parts. I think it's a bad ass bike, but since you are wanting top dollar maybe you should try parting out since you have that many extras in parts on it.
Good luck selling it!
Btw, exhaust labor dosent count in reselling value. 95% of us put on our own exhaust.

Some advice:
Trackday looks like "raced" to most people.
People don't want to pay nearly the same amount for a 4 year old bike as a new one costs. Especially when you factor in that most people finance.
I had an 06 10R. I bought it with less than 4k miles on it, 2 years ago, for less than you are selling yours for. It had never seen the racetrack, and it was mint. And the owner allowed me to pay for it over 4 months (he kept the bike until paid in full).
You won't even make 25% of your investement in accessories back if you leave them on the bike. The bike is customized to your specifications, for you...not tailored to fit the needs of a potential buyer.
Valves adjustment, throttle body sync, steering damper adjusted. This are not selling points, they are maintenance and personal preference items.
I don't want to seem so negative, but it's a nice bike and it is just losing value. While you may dispute what others are telling you, the fact that it has not sold after all of this time should be sending you a message.
Good luck with the sale. Personally, I suggest you remove the accessories and put back near stock. It will sell much more quickly, and you will make more money, by far.

Yeah, Now who's "Smokin'"
Thanks for the feedback here guys, but....Come on man! I can put it back to stock (Down to the last nut) and get 6,500.
Shane; "Most People" is not my target buyer(s). A few (5) trackdays to polish some skills in no way means this bike was "Raced". Like I said earlier, if you saw the bike in person and took a look under the plastics, you would know right away. It is in Showroom condition.
I do agree with you on parting out... I'm sure I could get some coin for a $2,000 exhaust system with a PCIII USB (Custom map Included). Hell, the header does not even have any stone nicks on it!

Just a little food for thought: I just bought a 2007 zx10r with yoshi slip ons and a powercommander with only 2,100 miles! And I only paid 6,300 with gas to go get it. Nice bike, but your target market has all but gone down the drain, no one wants to buy a bike that is already set up, half the fun is setting it up yourself. Part out all your aftermarket, and start with an asking price of $6,000??? Good luck, nice nice bike
