I'm assuming your hauling 2 bikes since you want one 8' wide. I have a 6x12 and I have the brackets set up to haul 1 or 2 bikes, but 2 is tight. I wouldn't mind selling mine and getting a 16' as I could use it for other things besides bikes. If your interested email me eklipse636 at hotmail dot com
